Fear is a fever you’re wearing thin

The song on the radio is stuck
I feel as if I’ve fallen a thousand times
Landing in my safe place

Woo the lyrics to the same old song lingers around
Why won’t they change the moment to hear something new?
Gravity took its course and is being satisfactory

We are in love with all you do even though at times it’s hard to do
Trial ourselves to picture a moment without you
Sidetracking ourselves to be disconnected from what really matters
Lily said she is packing plastic really she is hiding from her life because it’s so dramatic
I could clear the dark clouds and move them further
But at the end of the day it’s still going to rain on someone’s parade

No matter how you look into things
That place
Those digits
They aren’t ever going to change who you are even if you lived in outer space
Circle the solar system until you’ve cried enough to

Full the ocean
Fuel the empty issued water dams

Hoping all your problems would just slowly fade away

End of story
End of hope

Bring out those simple one liners ending in a simple quote
Fear is a fever you’re wearing thin
